Park Rules and Regulations

CHECK OUT TIME: Noon unless space is available for late departures and management is aware of situation.

QUIET HOURS: 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. One of our goals at the Cast Away RV Park is to help maintain a friendly, peaceful atmosphere. Please be courteous with noises, especially between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Noise should not impair neighboring sites.

RATES: Payment is entirely for services rendered under a HOST/GUEST arrangement. Daily/Weekly price includes electricity, water, sewer. Wireless Internet (WIFI) is complementary. Rates include up to three adults per site. Additional fees required for additional adults. Add $30/month, $10/week, $3/night for each additional adult. Children under 18 are free. Rates are subject to change without notice.

CAMPSITES: Please keep sites clean, neat and tidy. Clotheslines, outside storage, underneath RV storage, repair on RV or vehicle is not permitted except in an emergency. No permanent structures allowed. Grills on stands are allowed for cooking. All trash must be placed in dumpsters located on campgrounds. Do not leave at campsite. Only one camping unit per site. Limit 2 vehicles per site. Parking allowed on your site only or designated parking. Vehicles that are non-operable are not permitted on site and must be removed. No vehicle or trailer washing.

CONNECTION HOSES: Water hoses must be replaced if leaking. Septic hose must have a plastic connector to attach to our septic hookup. Water hoses must be insulated. Park is not responsible for damaged hoses.

TYPES OF RVs: RV must be less than 15 years old to be on the park. If an RV is a few years older than 15 years, looks really good and is in good shape, an exception may be given. Exceptions will be made at the decision of the Manager. A window A/C on the RV is not allowed. The Park reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

ALCOHOL & SMOKING: No smoking within 20 ft. of all buildings. Open drunkenness is not tolerated. Please drink responsibly.

VEHICLES: “DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH OR PARK IN EMPTY CAMPSITES!” 5 mph speed limit. Two licensed and registered vehicles are allowed per site. Repairs, oil and radiator draining are not permitted at any time. Vehicle washing is not permitted. Motor-driven cycles are to be driven quietly and ONLY to enter and exit the Park. Roads must be kept open.

PET RESTRICTIONS: Pets are allowed with max limit of two dogs per site. No aggressive pets allowed. Cats must be indoor pets. Aggressive breeds are not allowed at any time! (i.e. Pit Bull, Doberman, Rottweiller, Bulldog, German Shepherd OR any aggressive dogs or animals). Park reserves the right to make final decisions for any animal. Pets must be on a 6 ft. max. leash. When outside on Park, owner must be present with pet on leash at all times. Droppings must be picked up immediately. Pets are not allowed in buildings. Violators will be asked to leave immediately--without a refund. Immediate eviction will follow any animal bite or attack. All required shots must be current.

CHILDREN: Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult at all times while on the premises. Parents are responsible for all damages caused by their children.

PERSONAL CONDUCT: Any type of public disturbance will not be tolerated. Disorderly, ill-mannered conduct, drunkenness will not be tolerated. A public domestic disturbance will immediately terminate the Service Agreement of the campsite which must then be vacated immediately. If the Sheriff has to be called for any disturbance, the campsite must be vacated immediately--NO REFUND. All occupants and guests must comply with all federal, state & local laws and park rules.

PROHIBITED: Use of firearms is not permitted on premises. Fireworks are not permitted on premises. Vulgar, racist, or offensive flags or displays will not be tolerated on premises. Absolutely no swimming allowed in pond/lake. Fishing in pond is for residents only. Guest are not allowed to fish on property. No digging allowed on property without the consent of manager due to buried electrical wire and plumbing.

REFUNDS: No refunds are available for early departures or undesirable weather conditions. We do not give rent refunds or credits for early departures or changes during your stay. No exceptions. There will be NO REFUNDS for shortened stays. In the event when a free amenity (such as WIFI, fishing pier etc.) is temporarily closed, out of service, or is undergoing repairs, there will be no refunds or credits. If you leave during the month, the rate changes to the current daily rate per night.

LATE FEES: Beginning the day after your due date, a late fee of $5.00 per day will be added and will continue until your rent is paid in full. If rent is not paid in full within 3 days of your “due date,” you will receive a Notice of Termination and the campsite must be vacated immediately. A Notice of Eviction with the Freestone County authorities may be filed by the Castaway RV Park.

INSURANCE: Renter acknowledges that owners insurance does not cover personal property damage caused by fire, theft, rain, war, falling tree branches, acts of God, acts of others, and/or any other causes, nor shall owners be held liable for such losses. Renter is hereby advised to obtain their own insurance policy to cover any personal losses.

LOST or STOLEN PROPERTY: Castaway RV Park is not responsible for loss or stolen property on the premises. Renters are responsible for securing all personal items.

MOTORIZED VEHICLES: Four wheelers, mini bikes, dirt bikes or gas powered carts are not allowed. Golf carts are permissible and should be driven in a responsible manner by an adult in non-restricted areas.

CAMPFIRES: Campfires are permitted within designated fire rings pending no burn ban in effect. Extinguish campfires before leaving. Fire rings are available upon request with a security deposit. Deposit will be refunded when fire rings are returned.

TENT CAMPING: Tent camping is currently not allowed. Future designated area will be developed for tent camping and rates will be provided.

RESERVATIONS: All reservations must be paid in full. Reservations must be cancelled 30 days prior to the arrival date. Refunds for last minute cancellations and no-shows are at the discretion of the park owner. Nightly and weekly reservations must be paid in full. You may reserve online by clicking on the tab on the "Make a Reservation" tab. Weekly and monthly fees mus be paid before or by their due date. Those who are behind on their rent risk late fees and/ or eviction. Any RV, vehicle, or property parked/ stored in an unpaid site may be towed or removed without warning at owners expense. We reserve all rights including the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time and the right to terminate or amend this agreement at any time. We reserve the right to correct any mistakes/ miscalculations on customers' accounts (past or current) due to human error or computer glitches and will refund or bill your credit card accordingly.

Waiver of Liability: Customer shall not hold Campground, Owners, Manager or any Agent of the Owners or Manager, or any Employees of the Castaway RV Park liable for any or all claims, demands, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising from any and all damages or injuries caused by fire, water, wind, civil strive, accidents, theft, or acts of God. Physical damage and liability coverage is the full responsibility of owner/renter of the RV. Rental space remains under the control of the campground Manager. Services are provided under a Site Service Agreement. You are not under a landlord/tenant arrangement--Theft of Services applies.
